Former Aggie linebacker continues to decapitate opponents in the AAF
After becoming a household name with his epic week one sack, former Texas A&M linebacker Shaan Washington continues to ruin opponents lives in the Alliance of American Football. #54’s devastating hits have helped captivate football hungry audiences across the country this Spring, and the former Aggie standout was at it again on Sunday afternoon.
What’s honestly a shame is that Shaan has been doing this for years, but for whatever reason, he’s been constantly overlooked at every turn of his career. Dating back to his time in College Station, the Louisiana native made plays all over the field for the Aggies, yet his name was rarely mentioned in the headlines.

For all of its faults, I think what the AAF has done is fantastic for players like Shaan who’ve been given a new lease on life in the world of pro football. Despite battling injuries, Washington is second on his team in sacks and tied for fourth in the league overall.
